Once again, I AM ANGRY!

Here are some notes published on July 18th, 2025 in THE WEEK.

POINT: Measles cases reported in the US hit a high point 1277 confirmed cases in 33 years cross 38 states and DC. That is just in 1/2 year! WHY? Just ask the Trump Sec'y of Health Kennedy. You know, the guy on a tear against vaccinations - resulting in falling childhood vaccination coverage.

POINT: A former FBI agent who took part in the January 6th Capital assault. JARED WISE was charged with encouraging the rioters to "kill the Capitol Police!" Jared Wise's charges were dismissed on Trump's blanket clemency order. WISE was appointed to the DOJ as the advisor to ED MARTIN - an FBI Director tasked with investigating claims of anti-conservative bias in the DOJ. What a COMPLETE OUTRAGE! The accused turncoat from January 6th investigating those who pursued and indicted him and others BASED ON ACTUAL EVIDENCE.

Birthright Citizenship under attack! 

POINT: Deportations hit the next phase - DENATURALIZATION! Thanks right.... Trump and the DOJ instructed their attorneys to "maximally pursue denaturalization proceedings." Huh? The translation is to ERASE American naturalized citizens going back as much as 20 years or more. According to THE DISPATCH some 24.5 million naturalized American citizens could be subject to "de-naturalization" and deportation "resulting from a speeding ticket, a traffic stop, an arrest during a demonstration, or a social media post." Even "Native Born Americans" should worry. Trump's Deputy Chief of Staff Steve Miller - the immigrant terror - made it clear that "real Americans" are the descendants of white Europeans born on US soil....

In 6 months - through the issuance of hundreds of Executive Orders and the passage of the MAGA Budget Bill earlier this month, the Trump extremist stamp has been impressed on the entire nation - both Red and Blue.

THIS HAS GOT TO END.... AND SOON...

Both the Senate and House Republicans have ceded their Constitutional authority - often by one vote! Tariffs, concern for rural (Red States) hospital’s fiscal health, authority under adopted law of a broad scope of US entities like funding for PBS, NPR, Foreign Aid and more, was handed over to one man - Trump. No challenge… no disagreement at all resulting from a fear of reprisals and political damage or “death.”

Whether its 5th avenue ... or DC ... the shooter is Trump.

Even worse, from Citizens United, the SCOTUS - with Trump appointees - now carries a 6-3 majority of ultra conservative life appointments - that often rule in Trump’s favor including broad immunity covering “official acts.”

It now appears that - just like Germany in the decade of the 1930s - co-equal branches of the US Government - have handed the keys to the “Kingdom” to one man obsessed with power and autocratic control. In Trump’s view, he can now “burn down” our Reichstag … and send the courts on vacation… ONE MAN RULE. A model reflected in Russia and in North Korea.
